Participants must be aged 12 or over, a minimum of 150cm tall* and a maximum of 15 stone/95 kilos in order to ride the larger e-scooters.
We have two smaller e-scooters available for 10 & 11 year olds that require a minimum height of 120 cm but these spaces can only be booked over the phone.
*If you have a shorter participant aged 12+ please let us know so we can reserve one of the smaller scooters for you.
No! We share the plantation with other users such as cyclists, dog walkers and horse riders We ask you to follow and abide our Code of E-Scootering. Failure to do so may terminate your session.
Yes, there is a degree of fitness required in order to take part - you must be fit and healthy, with no medical conditions that may increase your risk of injury to yourself or others. If you have any queries about what may be required, please give us a call before booking. If you have any queries about your health, please seek medical advice.
Please note that there is a power to weight ratio on the e-scooters, so the heavier you are, the more assistance the e-scooters will require from you to get up hills.
There will be plenty of opportunities to take photos along the way, however we kindly ask that phones/cameras remain away whilst moving. So no selfies! Just ask your trail guide when you stop at various points.
Yes, we will require you to complete a disclaimer - our "Acknowledgement of Risk & Responsibility, Waiver of Liability and Conditions of Use" form before participating.

Helmets are provided and are compulsory in order to participate, along with disposable hair nets. We also have elbow and knee pads available to wear if desired.
Sturdy trainers, walking boots or wellies will be required to take part. Leave the flip flops, open toed shoes and high heels at home!
We would also recommend wearing long trousers and a long sleeved top - it can get a little chilly whilst zooming along, and they also act as a first defence barrier against the midges! Insect repellent is recommended in the spring and summer months! Thin gloves are a must for autumn & winter so you can still feel your fingertips! (Probably also a must for the Manx spring and summer months too!)
It would be a good idea to wear old clothes that you don't mind getting dirty, or bringing a spare change of clothes to go home in....just in case!
Bring a rain jacket, in the event of a shower.
The sessions start with a safety briefing and the completion and signing of paperwork. You will then be kitted out with safety gear before having a demonstration on the operation of the e-scooter.
We will then start your training, initially using your own power along the flat to help you find your balance before introducing the power.
Once we are happy that you are able to confidently control the e-scooter, we will set out on our trail, travelling in single file and leaving a minimum of four e-scooter lengths between you and the person in front of you.
We will only travel at the pace of the slowest person, and will make lots of stops to keep the group together and to allow the slowest person to catch up.
The trail will last 45-60 minutes depending on the size and pace of the group, but we say to allow an hour and a half in total from start to finish.
Pre-booking is essential to ensure that we are on-site. We have a cut off period on our booking system of 24 hours before the session time, however if you would like to see if we can accommodate a last minute session, just give us a call and we'll see what we can do.
We will be working on developing more trails in the future, offering different challenges for returning customers. Keep an eye on our Facebook page to find out when these will be released!
No! Please save the drinking until afterwards! You must not be under the influence of drugs or alcohol in order to participate. We reserve the right to refuse anyone from participating if we believe they are under the influence.
Please aim to arrive 15 minutes before the start of your session to ensure the session starts on time. If you arrive late, this will reduce the time you will have on the trail and if there are other participants from another household booked on, we may have started without you.
If you know are running late, please get in touch as soon as possible to keep us updated.
Each session requires a minimum of two participants in order to go ahead. Please note that unless privately booked, sessions are open to other guests to join you.
Online bookings can made on our booking system up to 24 hours prior to the start of the session time via a credit or debit card.
If you'd prefer to pay via a bank transfer, just let us know and we will send over our payment details
If you need to pay on the day, we are able to accept card or cash.
Yes! We ask that all children are over 12 years old (that's year 8 and above to avoid any disappointment!) and over 150cm tall. We can accommodate up to seven children plus one accompanying adult that will be responsible for the children at all times and has the relevant permission from the children's parents/guardians to sign paperwork on their behalf.
We can accommodate larger parties by splitting into two groups, and will require an adult present and responsible for each group.
We will still go ahead in the rain, but if adverse weather is forecast, we will have to cancel for your safety, and to protect the e-scooters.
Please ensure you provide us with a contact mobile number on your booking in the event we need contact you on the day.
